Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a candidate for the US Senate, and a TV presenter at MSNBC. She was frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in the month of May that they'd leave the show to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her new fascination with politics to her experience after becoming an expectant mother in the 2008 primary elections and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She witnessed the impact that it had on the citizens of her home country and was moved to see the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 through July 2015, she hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
